The Hoshizaki FM-80KE-HCN Nugget Ice Maker is a compact, self-contained commercial ice machine designed to produce up to 75 kg of nugget ice per 24 hours under standard conditions (air temperature 10°C, water temperature 10°C). Nugget ice is soft, chewable, and slow-melting, making it ideal for beverage service, healthcare facilities, cafés, restaurants, hotels, and self-service drink stations.

This model features Hoshizaki’s CleanCycle6 system, which automatically rinses built-up mineral impurities every 6 hours, ensuring consistent ice quality and reducing maintenance downtime. Water consumption is equal to ice production, providing efficient and predictable water usage.

The FM-80KE-HCN includes an automatic rinse cycle and a closed water circuit, protecting the ice-making process from contamination. An electronic controller ensures reliable operation, while the operation time-based parts replacement system supports preventive maintenance planning.

Built for durability, the auger is made from double-hardened stainless steel, and carbon graphite bushings enable grease-free operation, minimizing wear and maintenance costs. User-friendly features such as a cleanable air filter and a removable door gasket simplify routine cleaning and servicing.

FM-series machines can be converted to produce flake or nugget ice by a qualified engineer, offering flexibility for evolving operational requirements.
