The Hoshizaki FM-300AKE-HCN Nugget Ice Maker is a high-capacity modular ice machine engineered to produce up to 250 kg of nugget ice per 24 hours under standard conditions (air temperature 10°C, water temperature 10°C). Designed for professional foodservice, healthcare, hospitality, and retail environments, this model is ideal where chewable, soft nugget ice is preferred for beverages, patient care, and food presentation.

This modular unit is compatible with Hoshizaki storage bins, allowing flexible installation and scalable ice storage. FM-series machines can be converted to produce flake or nugget ice by a qualified engineer, providing adaptability for different operational requirements.

The FM-300AKE-HCN is equipped with Hoshizaki’s CleanCycle6 system, which automatically rinses built-up mineral impurities every 6 hours to maintain consistent ice quality and reduce maintenance needs. Water consumption is equal to ice production, ensuring efficient and predictable water usage.

Hygiene and reliability are further enhanced by an automatic rinse cycle and a closed water circuit, protecting against contamination throughout the ice-making process. The machine uses an electronic controller for stable operation and features an operation time-based parts replacement system to support preventive maintenance planning.

The auger is constructed from double-hardened stainless steel for durability, while carbon graphite bushings enable grease-free operation. This design minimizes wear, lowers maintenance costs, and extends service life. A cleanable air filter supports optimal airflow and simplifies routine cleaning.
